Thanks to great work from the State's congressional delegation including Senators Robert Menendez and Frank Lautenberg and Representatives Frank Pallone, Frank LoBiondo and John Adler, much needed federal funds will be coming to NJ as a result of special funding requests under the energy and water spending bill. The four coastal counties of Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic and Cape May will benefit from the 2010 funding appropriation. The investment in beach replenishment will be a boost to the state's tourism economy and the businesses that are impacted by tourism.
