Press article sends alarm to beachgoers
Asbury Park Press article, Sunday, July 17 titled "Reports of mounting injuries at replenished beaches raise safety questions and concerns" is inaccurate, misleading, and lacks any basis in fact. The Partnership sent letter to editor to voice objection to the lack of journalistic integrity. Partnership petitions for federal funds to restore beaches
The November storms battered New Jersey's beaches and left a trail of destruction. Local governments will need federal funds to help restore the beaches to be ready for the tourism season that generates billions of dollars for the state's economy. We urge you to contact your local legislator to appeal for federal assistance.
