Jersey Shore Partnership and Founder Honored
Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce honors Jersey Shore Partnership with its Spinnaker Award for a non-profit organization that provides quality and consitent programs and/or services to the community. Partnership Founder Tom Gagliano and Chair of the Jersey Shore Partnership Foundation will accept the award on behalf of the organization's Board of Directors.

Beach Replenishmet Projects in process
As of this writing, beach replenishment projects are happening in Monmouth Beach and in Cape May City. in Cape May County. Also approved are beaches in Strathmere/Sea Isle. It is anticipated that Long Beach Township/Brant Beach section and beaches in Atlantic City and Ventor will be under construction this fall or early 2012.

Gov. Christie and Lt. Gov. Guadagno Announce statewide Hurrican Irene Business Recovery Assistance. President Obama and Gov. Christie tour flooded towns and assured federal funding (FEMA)for disaster area victims whose homes and/or businesses have been damaged or destroyed.

Public Hearings Concluded on Proposed Beach Access Ruling
The DEP has completed its public hearings on new proposed beach access rules and has until April 4, 2012 to issue its revised rules.
