JSP gave its support to the Water Resources Coalition in its appeal to increase funding for the Corp of Engineer priority projects. The Coalition is an organization of groups representing private industry and government who are committed to ensuring that a comprehensive, national water resources policy is developed, implemented, and funded to provide a sustainable, productive economy, a healthy acquatic ecology, and public health and safety.
The Partnership's core mission to replenish and restore New Jersey's beaches aligns with the Coalition's efforts to seek more funding for the Corps of Engineers - the group responsible for conducting our state's beach replenishment projects.
